2012 National Truck Driving Championship Accolades
This past Saturday, August 11, New Penn professional driver Richard Walton was a proud recipient of the 2012 National Truck Driving Championship (NTDC) State Team Champion Award for Pennsylvania (PA). Rich and other PA drivers scored big to receive this honor at the 75th annual NTDC awards banquet held in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The State Team Champion Award recognizes the state team (PA) with the highest average individual score at the end of NTDC competition. Richard Walton competed in the 3-axle class. His strong performance helped to lift the overall score of the PA team and secured the collective title of State Team Champions.
As one of the best professional drivers on the best state team in the nation, Rich Walton truly represents what it means to be a New Penn driver. His hard work, skill, and commitment to safety demonstrate the passion for professionalism that sets New Penn ahead of the rest.
